" John Young in the Mountains of the Moon "
_______

by Alan L. Bean

A superb painting of astronaut John Young on the Moon,
painted by fellow moonwalker Alan L. Bean.

Consider that, throughout the ages, countless artists
have come and gone, and left their mark.

And yet there is only one artist in history who has ever walked on
another celestial world, and then returned to Earth and painted it!

As such, each of Alan Bean's original paintings represents a
unique historical document, unlike any other in world history!

10.25 x 14 inches in size

Bean has textured this painting using his lunar tools,
and implanted Apollo 12 lunar dust within its surface!

An Extremely-Rare Food Packet

flown aboard the Apollo 12 Lunar Module "Intrepid"

The vast majority of Lunar Module food
was left behind on the Moon by the Apollo astronauts.

This example, however, from the

Bean to tycoon Aristotle Onassis, during a planned visit
by the Apollo 12 crew to Greece in 1970 which never materialized.

This literally represents some of the first food
ever carried by Man to the surface of another world!
