The actual sterling-silver Air Force Astronaut Wings awarded to Duke for Apollo 16!
To become an "Air Force Astronaut", one must have flown higher then 50 miles above the Earth.
During Apollo 16, Duke flew up to fifty miles, and then continued on another 238,000 miles to the Moon!

This is one of only four pairs of Air Force Astronaut Wings ever awarded to a Moonwalker!
The other three "Air Force Moonwalkers" were Dave Scott, Jim Irwin, and Buzz Aldrin!
Also accompanied by General Duke's certification-certificate!


One of the most important military decorations ever awarded in American history!
